My name is Leo Harrington and I am from Malibu, California. I grew up on the beaches of Point Dume, partaking in every ocean activity that I could since a young age. The ocean has launched me into a career of lifeguarding, surf instructing, and providing water safety for aquatic based motion picture films. It is safe to say that I love being in the water for all of the obvious reasons…
I began working as a volunteer surfer for the organization in 2011, however last year I was approached by the founder’s of Therasurf to take over as President and continue their prominent legacy. It has been an honor working with such a devoted group of individuals, and I look forward to many more years of stoked and salty faces!
Married with 2 wonderful kids, Sophia and Chloebyrd
Im the Owner and Partner of M3 Office inc. A Herman Miller dealer.
I am a part of THERAsurf because it feels good to be a part of unforgettable memories.
In my spare time I enjoy skiing, surfing and being outdoors with my girls..

I love watching the faces of the parents light up with pride, as their children ride the waves with our incredibly talented surfers.
Grew up in Newport Beach, California where he began surfing at a young age. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and also attended Griffith University on the Gold Coast of Australia. Currently, Erik is a Vice President and Investment Analyst for The Capital Group, a global investment management firm. Erik was first introduced to THERAsurf while watching the children surf at the Malibu Invitational, and from that point on, he knew he had to get involved with an organization that brought such pure joy to the faces of the kids and their families. He also drew inspiration from his younger sister, who grew up with epilepsy and now works full-time as a Special Education teacher. The organization shares his love for surfing, the ocean and helping children with special needs. Erik lives in Hermosa Beach with his wife Alyse and children Elle and Grant.
Falling for surfing was the most selfish thing I did growing up. I dropped everything; playing guitar, baseball, soccer… just complete addiction. 25 years later, Im still here, addicted, but TheraSurf gives me a way to gift the incredible gift that is surfing to these incredible kids.
Honored to be a part of the TheraSurf family.
